In our culture, the presence of a “Dala” a large SUV convoy often comes with a certain fear. People assume that anyone in such a vehicle likely has weapons, influence, or some untouchable status. This image is not only intimidating but has also been used by some of the elite class to bully or dominate others. It creates a social divide, where power is not just felt through words or actions, but also through vehicles and weapons.
This kind of culture negatively affects the psychology of our youth. Children see such displays in public and begin to question Why is that person carrying a gun? Why do they have so many guards? Is this what success looks like? These are dangerous seeds to plant in young, impressionable minds. When violence and intimidation are normalized in public spaces, it shapes a generation to believe that power comes from fear, not from values or education.
